DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP LOCATION FOR SPRING BREAK-MINI CAMP
FIU PG2 Blue Parking Garage, Suite 120 at the Modesto Maidique Campus, 11200 S.W. 8 Street, Miami, Florida 33199. Junior Panthers and Panthers may be dropped off between the Blue and Gold parking garages. Panther Cubs may not be dropped off at curb, parent/guardian must accompany camper to assigned classroom.

Upon entering FIU Modesto Maidique Campus (on SW 107th Avenue and 16th), please proceed to the first stop sign. Continue straight when reaching rotunda and follow the road to the Blue Parking Garage on the left.
DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP LOCATION FOR SUMMER CAMP @ MMC
FIU Ocean Bank Convocation Center Lobby at the Modesto Maidique Campus, 11200 S.W. 8 Street, Miami, Florida 33199. Panther Cubs may not be dropped off at curb, parent/guardian must accompany camper inside Arena Lobby.
ON-CAMPUS DIRECTIONS TO OCEAN BANK CONVOCATION CENTER
Upon entering FIU Modesto Maidique Campus (on SW 8 Street and 112th Avenue), please proceed to the first stop sign. Make a right and follow the road as it curves to the left. When you reach the first intersection, you will see the Ocean Bank Convocation Center on your right.
Campers will have lunch from Fresh Foods and Company on the FIU Campus at the Graham Center Building. To view menu options you may visit https:/shop.fiu.edudining/restaurants/fresh-food-company/index.html Campers may packed their own lunch if preferred.
PHOTO ID REQUIRED AT PICK-UP
Please remind all persons authorized to pick-up campers (during parent pick-up and throughout day) that a photo ID is required. Campers may only be picked up by those individuals noted on the Student Data form as authorized to do so.
Campers must wear camp shirts every day to camp. If a camper is not wearing their camp shirt, one will be provided and you will be billed for additional shirt. Campers wear their shirt with shorts or comfortable pants (No short shorts). Campers must wear sneakers, no open-toe shoes or crocs allowed. Cubs should always pack a change of clothes in their camp bag.
CUBS (Campers Ages 5-6)
During the week, the Cubs are scheduled to view films and video presentations related to the theme of the week. We have reserved a classroom for them to comfortably experience the presentation. Please send a mat and blanket for your camper.
Campers are only allowed to use their hand held devises during scheduled experiences and they will be required to turn off and store their devices at the end of the experience. Please label all hand held devices.
FIELD TRIPS DEPARTURE/ARRIVAL TIME
Buses are scheduled to depart the FIU campus sharply at 9:00 a.m. It is important that all campers arrive no later than 8:30 a.m. on field trip day to ensure that they are able to join their group. We are scheduled to depart back to campus at 3:00 p.m. and should be arriving on campus at approximately 4:00 p.m.
Parents are welcome to join us on field trips but must provide their own transportation and may be subject to a minimal cost to cover entrance fees when applicable.
CAMPERS NOT PARTICIPATING IN FIELD TRIPS
We understand that there may be circumstances that will not permit your camper to participate in programed fieldtrips. However, we must inform you that we do not have additional staff to remain behind with campers. All campers attending camp on days with scheduled fieldtrips must participate in the experience.
